PR and Event Executive

Job Purpose:
Setting marketing and brand strategy for Firetrap Identifying KPI's and KAP's to increase brand equity, brand awareness, brand value and drive growth through wholesale, retail and online.
Reporting to:
Marketing Manager
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for management of IPR
- Develop seasonal PR strategy alongside Marketing Manager and PR agency
- Communicate key data and results within the business
- Supply agency with seasonal tools, brand information, product updates & stories, store activity etc
- Daily point of contact for PR agencies
- Work with agency to develop a calendar of trade and consumer news
- Ensure a direct link between PR plan and store locations & product drops
- Monitor monthly reports and feed back to business
- Secure weekly meetings with key media to update them on brand news
- Work with agency on seasonal press days
- Manage and select samples for agency with intern/Marketing Assistant support
Product Placement
- Work with agency to develop seasonal product placement strategy
- Develop PP opportunities on celebs / festivals / film opps / key movers and shakers throughout the season.
- Manage stock control and budget
- Gather testimonials / images where possible and communicate to business
Advertising Campaign
- Coordination with Marketing Manager and creative team to manage seasonal advertising campaign
- Management of budget allocation & timeline
- Work closely with designer to develop creative concept and direction
- Select and brief creative team from hair & make up to stylists & photographers
- Location search
- Outfit selection
- Co-ordinate all castings and fittings
- Direct and manage teams on shoot
- Work closely with production teams to ensure campaign is delivered on time and on budget
- Work with photographer image selection
- Work with retouches on post production
- Work with graphic designer on seasonal brand advertising guidelines
Look Book
- Develop creative brief for look book by working closely with the Marketing Manager and the Design Team
- Management of the entire creative process from concept to final result
- Management of budget allocation & timeline
- Work closely with art director to develop creative concept
- Select and brief creative team from hair & make up to stylists & photographers
- Liaise closely with international PR teams, sales , design and retail regarding requirements
- Co-ordinate all castings &fittings
- Outfit selection with designers / collate samples
- Direct and manage teams on shoot
- Work closely with production teams to ensure look book is delivered on time and on budget
- Work with photographer on picture edit and final image selection
- Work closely with retouches on all aspects of post production
- Manage and brief graphic designers on design and print
- Oversee all copy for look book
- Manage distribution process
Store launches & Regional PR
- Work with PR agency to develop a robust regional PR support plan
- Work with IPR to ensure relevant press and celebrity attendance
- Support retail with new launches
- Work with and support marketing manager with all launches
Sponsorship opportunities & Brand partnerships
- Seek out new and inspiring sponsorship opportunities
- Project manage all sponsorship opportunities
- Ensure that partnership drives brand equity, sales and PR
- Ensure that all activity is fully integrated to support online & retail
- Ensure that all international PR's are involved in projects where possible
- Write up feedback report and communicate to partners & the business
Skills and Experience:
