To manage the financial services function of WDT Retail Ltd.

Finance Manager

Record and report the financial position of WDT Retail Ltd
Record the daily financial trading activities of the business.
Prepare monthly ‘Management' and ‘Cost Centre' accounts.
Retail revenue, margin and KPI analysis on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Assist in production of annual budget and quarterly forecast.
Balance sheet account reconciliation.
Performing year to date and month to date variance analysis.
Commercial Accounting and Analysis to enable individual stores/brands to increase their revenue.
Performing range and promotions analysis to support merchandising.
Update monthly cash flow model.
Assist in production of Statutory Accounts.
Assisting in the investment appraisal for new revenue streams including internet shopping and overseas concessions.
Accrual and prepayments.
VAT Returns.
Fixed assets.
Financial stock reporting and assisting in the process of stocktaking.
Ad-hoc duties
Prepare Monthly and weekly payroll analysis

Other key requirements:

You will be a Management Accountant ideally with previous roles in retail.
You will have assisted in the production of Budgets and Forecasts and have an analytical and enquiring mind.
You will be educated to or currently studying towards a Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
You will have strong business acumen and experience in commercial accounting.
You will have experience working with buying and merchandising teams.
You will have excellent communication skills.
Strong Excel knowledge is essential to macro level.
You will be used to liaising with non finance teams such as Sales and Marketing.
Excellent data manipulation skills.
Cash-flow experience is an advantage.
